Personalised Consultations

Let's start by understanding you.

Whether you're exploring aesthetic treatments for the first time or simply looking for thoughtful professional guidance, every appointment begins by understanding you.

We'll take the time to discuss what's brought you in, what you'd like to achieve and any questions or concerns you may have before exploring the options that are appropriate for you.

You don't need to know exactly what you need.

Many people arrive knowing exactly what concerns they'd like to discuss, while others simply know something has changed but aren't sure where to begin.

Both are completely okay.

Your consultation is an opportunity to ask questions, share what's important to you and receive thoughtful, honest guidance based on your individual circumstances. Sometimes that leads to treatment on the day. Sometimes it leads to a plan for the future. Occasionally, it means deciding that no treatment is the right option at all.

Whatever the outcome, our goal is to help you leave with a clearer understanding of your options and what feels right for you.

What to expect at your appointment

Although every consultation is different, the goal is always the same: to understand your concerns, answer your questions and help you make informed decisions about your care.

  1. Getting to know you

We'll begin by talking about what has brought you in, along with your goals, medical history, lifestyle factors and any previous treatments you've had.

  2. Comprehensive assessment

Rather than focusing on a single area in isolation, we'll complete a comprehensive facial assessment and consider how your concerns fit within your overall facial features, skin health and long-term goals.

  3. Education & discussion

Education is a central part of every consultation. We'll take the time to help you understand what's happening, why you're noticing these changes and the factors that may be contributing to them. From there, we'll discuss the options that may be appropriate for you, including the potential benefits, considerations and risks of each option, so you have a clear understanding of your options before deciding what feels right for you.

  4. Clinical photography

For most aesthetic consultations, we'll also take a series of clinical photographs. These photographs form part of your clinical record and allow us to objectively monitor your progress over time.

  5. Personalised recommendations

Some appointments lead to treatment on the day, while others are simply the beginning of a longer-term plan. Whatever the outcome, every recommendation is made with your individual circumstances, goals and safety in mind.

  6. Next steps

If treatment is appropriate and you decide to proceed, we'll discuss the next steps together. This may include consultation with our prescribing medical team where required, informed consent and a clear discussion about costs before any treatment takes place.

Our recommendations are always guided by what's right for you.

Our role isn't simply to recommend treatment. It's to provide honest guidance based on your individual circumstances.

There may be times when the most appropriate recommendation is to wait, explore a different approach or decide that treatment isn't appropriate at all. That recommendation may be based on your medical history, your goals, the current condition of your skin or simply because another approach is more likely to help you achieve your goals.

While that may not always be the recommendation someone hopes to hear, we would always rather recommend waiting than suggest something we don't genuinely believe is right for you.

Our priority is to help you make informed decisions that support your long-term wellbeing, rather than recommending treatment for the sake of it.

Where to from here?

Every consultation is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to care.

For some people, the next step may be treatment on the same day. For others, it may involve taking some time to consider your options, commencing a longer-term treatment plan or simply implementing skincare and reviewing your progress over time.

Whatever path is right for you, you'll leave with a clear understanding of our recommendations, the reasoning behind them and the opportunity to ask any remaining questions before making your decision.

Some decisions are made on the day. Others take time. Both are completely okay. What matters most is that you feel informed, supported and comfortable with whatever you decide.

A Note from Stephanie

One of my favourite parts of my role is getting to know the person sitting in front of me.

I love helping people understand what's happening with their skin or facial changes, why they're noticing those changes and the different options available to them. One of the things I hear most often is, "No one has ever explained it to me like that before." To me, that's just as important as any treatment.

I also believe there are very few decisions that need to be made on the spot. In fact, I'd often prefer someone to go away, reflect on what we've discussed and take the time to decide what's right for them.

I often remind clients that many aspects of aesthetics come down to personal preference. Something one person loves about themselves might be another person's greatest concern, and neither perspective is right or wrong. My role isn't to decide that for you. It's to help you understand your options, answer your questions honestly and support you in making a decision that feels right for you.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know what treatment I want before booking?

No. In fact, many people don't. Your consultation is designed to help you understand your concerns, explore the options that may be appropriate for you and decide what feels right based on your individual goals.

Will I have treatment on the same day?

If treatment is appropriate and you decide you'd like to proceed, it may be possible to have treatment on the same day. For others, a consultation is simply the first step in developing a plan. There is never any expectation to proceed before you're ready.

What should I bring to my consultation?

If you've had previous aesthetic treatments, it can be helpful to know approximately what you've had and when. Otherwise, simply bring any questions you'd like to discuss. We'll guide you through the rest.

What if you don't recommend treatment?

There may be times when we recommend waiting, considering a different approach or deciding that treatment isn't appropriate. Honest guidance is an important part of the consultation process, and our recommendations will always be based on what we genuinely believe is right for you.
