Skin Rejuvenation

Your skin tells a story. Our role is to help you understand what it's saying.

Our skin naturally changes over time. As we get older, collagen and elastin gradually decline, the underlying structures that support our skin also change, and years of environmental exposure all play a role. It's also normal for your skin's needs to change over time.

Once you understand what's changing and why, it becomes much easier to choose the right approach for your skin.

Understanding the changes you're noticing

Healthy skin looks different for everyone. That's why our approach to skin rejuvenation always begins with understanding your skin, your concerns and your goals before discussing treatment options.

It's common to notice changes in your skin gradually. You may find your skin doesn't feel as firm as it once did, your complexion appears duller, pigmentation becomes more noticeable or fine lines begin to develop. For others, it may be changes in skin texture, hydration or the way makeup sits on the skin.

While these changes are a natural part of life, they don't all happen for the same reason. Factors such as age, genetics, hormones, sun exposure and lifestyle all influence the health and appearance of our skin over time.

Understanding what's contributing to your individual concerns is an important first step before deciding which approach, if any, may be appropriate.

Skin rejuvenation isn't one treatment.

Skin rejuvenation isn't about finding one treatment that does everything. It's about understanding your skin, identifying what's contributing to the changes you're noticing and choosing the approach that's most appropriate for your individual needs.

Healthy skin looks different for everyone. That's why our approach to skin rejuvenation always begins with understanding your skin, your concerns and your goals before discussing treatment options.

Depending on your individual assessment, this may involve one treatment, a combination of treatments, professional skincare or simply making changes to your current routine. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.

Common skin concerns we assess

Everyone's skin is unique, but some of the most common concerns people seek advice about include:

  • Dull or tired-looking skin
  • Uneven skin tone and pigmentation
  • Fine lines
  • Changes in skin texture
  • Dehydrated skin
  • Acne scarring
  • Redness
  • Loss of skin firmness
  • Overall skin quality

These concerns often have more than one contributing factor. Understanding what's driving those changes is an important part of choosing the most appropriate approach to skin rejuvenation.

How we support skin rejuvenation

Every person's skin is different, which means there is no single approach to skin rejuvenation. Following a personalised consultation and skin assessment, we'll recommend the options that are most appropriate for your individual concerns, skin health and goals.

Depending on your assessment, this may involve one treatment, a combination of treatments or professional skincare to support your skin over time.

Skin Needling

Skin needling works by stimulating your skin's natural healing response to support collagen production and improve overall skin quality. Depending on your individual needs, it may be paired with an NCTF skin booster where appropriate to further support skin hydration and overall skin quality.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are used to target a range of skin concerns, including uneven skin tone, pigmentation, congestion and texture. Different peel formulations are selected based on your skin type and individual concerns.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP uses your body's own platelet-rich plasma to support natural skin rejuvenation. It may be appropriate for improving overall skin quality and is also used as part of our hair restoration services.

Professional Skincare

Professional skincare isn't simply an add-on to in-clinic treatments. For many people, it forms the foundation of healthy skin and plays an important role in supporting long-term skin health.

Medical Aesthetics

Where appropriate, medical aesthetic treatments may be recommended as part of a personalised treatment plan to support skin quality and address age-related changes. A range of treatment options may be considered, including Rejuran, depending on your individual assessment, goals and suitability.

A Note from Stephanie

One of my favourite parts of my role is helping people understand their skin.

I often hear clients say, "No one has ever explained it to me like that before." Those moments are incredibly rewarding because understanding your skin is the foundation for making informed decisions about how to care for it.

While seeing improvements over time is always exciting, I believe the best outcomes come when you understand what's changing, why it's happening and the reasoning behind the recommendations we make together. That's why I'll always take the time to explain what's happening, answer your questions and help you understand the reasoning behind every recommendation.

Frequently asked questions

What is skin rejuvenation?

Skin rejuvenation refers to a range of approaches that support the health, quality and appearance of your skin. Rather than focusing on one treatment, it involves understanding your individual concerns and recommending the most appropriate approach based on your skin assessment and goals.

How do I know which skin rejuvenation treatment is right for me?

There is no single treatment that's right for everyone. During your consultation, we'll assess your skin, discuss your concerns and explain the options that may be appropriate for your individual needs before making any recommendations.

Will I need more than one treatment?

Depending on your skin concerns and goals, some people benefit from a single treatment, while others achieve the best results with a combination of treatments or a longer-term approach. Your recommendations will always be tailored to your individual assessment.

Can I combine different skin rejuvenation treatments?

In many cases, yes. Some treatments work well together and may be recommended as part of a personalised plan. We'll discuss what may be appropriate for your skin during your consultation.

Is professional skincare really necessary?

Professional skincare often forms the foundation of healthy skin. In some cases, a well-designed home routine may be recommended on its own, while for others it helps support and maintain the results of in-clinic treatments.
